Come to Castaway Island for Parrot Grande!

The 21st Annual Parrot Grande is a go for August 28 - 30th. I checked out the resort when they reopened. The WeKoPa staff has done everything to ensure the health and safety of their guests. All high-touch areas are cleaned hourly, plexiglass shields are set up at the registration desk, reception desks, and cashiers. Entrance and exits are limited to allow for temperature checks when entering the casino and temperatures are checked at the front desk. The guest rooms go through rigorous cleaning between guests -- each room is deep cleaned for 24 hours before another guest arrives. The restaurants, bars and casinos have been set up for physical distancing. Hand sanitizer and signage are strategically placed throughout the property. Masks are mandatory in the public areas of the resort and in the casino; at the pool, masks are not required however be sure to keep physical distance particularly from those not in your group.

Queen, Goat, and I felt very safe during our stay. Four other club members stayed one night and also felt very safe. We all felt the staff at the resort cared about keeping us safe and ensuring we still have fun. The Parrot Grande page will have more detailed information about the new protocols.
